The First State Bank of Columbus is now a division of First National Bank of Bastrop.

You will continue to receive the same trusted service and support from the First State Bank of Columbus team. In addition, you'll gain access to new opportunities in the coming months, including innovative products, enhanced services, and expanded banking resources through First National Bank of Bastrop.

Will My First State Bank Team Change?
No, you will continue working with the same FSB Columbus team you know and trust. There are no changes to your local banking relationships. Our team remains here to support you and provide the personalized service you expect.

When Will I Have Access to FNB Bastrop Branches and ATMs?
Until the conversion to First National Bank of Bastrop's banking systems is completed, customers should continue to conduct their banking activities through their current branch and use their existing accounts, debit cards, checks, and ATM network as they do today.
The conversion of deposit and loan relationships is currently expected to take place during the second quarter of 2027. Upon completion, customers will have access to all First National Bank of Bastrop branch and ATM locations.
We will provide advance notice of the confirmed conversion date, along with detailed information regarding any changes and next steps, to help ensure a smooth and seamless transition.

Not at this time. You can continue using your online and mobile banking services just as you do today.
FSB Columbus Online Banking and Mobile App will remain available, providing convenient access to features such as:

What Changes Are There to Bill Pay?
No changes are being made to your Bill Pay service at this time. You can continue to use Bill Pay just as you do today without any interruption.
FSB Columbus Bill Pay service remains available through Online Banking, allowing you to conveniently manage and schedule payments.

What Happens to Zelle?
There are no changes to your Zelle service at this time. You can continue to send and receive money using Zelle just as you do today.
Zelle remains accessible through FSB Columbus Online and Mobile Banking platforms for convenient, fast payments.

What Will Happen With My Debit Card?
You can continue using your FSB Columbus debit card as you do today. There is no interruption to your service at this time.
FSB Columbus Online & Mobile Banking will remain available and allow you to conveniently manage your debit card from either your computer or mobile device. With Online & Mobile Banking you can:
- Turn your debit card on or off
- Set transaction controls, including dollar spending limits, merchant categories, and geographic locations.
- Receive alerts when your card is used, approved, or exceeds your set controls.
- Stay informed of potential fraud with alerts on attempted or declined transactions.
- View real-time account balances
- Report lost or stolen cards

Will My Account and Routing Numbers Change?
No. Your FSB Columbus account number and routing number will remain the same. You can continue using your current account and routing number (113115235) without any interruption at this time.

Will I Need New Checks?
No. You can continue to use your existing checks without any interruption. There is no need to order new checks at this time.

Will My Deposits Still Be FDIC Insured?
Yes. Your deposits remain FDIC-insured up to applicable limits. If you maintained deposits at both FSB Columbus and FNB Bastrop before the merger, they will be insured separately for at least six months after the merger under FDIC rules.
After that period, deposits in the same ownership category will be combined and insured up to the applicable FDIC limit. Time Deposits (CDs) may qualify for extended separate insurance coverage until the first maturity date after the six-month grace period, depending on their maturity and renewal terms.
